Went to Canon's Farm today with Devil Birder and saw 2 brambling, 36 yellowhammer, 25 skylark, 450+ chaffinch, 1 lesser redpoll, 2 coal tit, 5 nuthatches, 1 treecreeper, 158 fieldfare, 50 redwing and a buzzard on the deck feeding on earthworms. Then went to Sutton and saw 160 pied wagtails in the roost near Waterstones.

NO mealy madness

Yet again i was at the farm looking for the mealy redpoll but no sign.Had 3 lesser redpolls & a peregrine.

i got on to about 20+ redpolls today but no mealy.But top gripper devilbirder got it by using his birding skills.Well done david.
